Knowing how ripe Durian

To get the best technique include durian smell, hearing, and touch.

The first thing done is hold the durian fruit with the hands you two. Be careful with the skin is crisp. Shake fruit and hear. If you do not hear a sound, durian is overcooked. If you hear the sound of loud knocking in the wall of the skin, durian is still not mature enough. That should sound you hear is the sound of pounding fine.

After that smell. If you feel the smell raw, such as the immature fruit, durian that can not be cooked. If baunya too strong and puncture, the fruit that may be too mature. The mature fruit baunya fragrant, but not too sharp.

If you purchase the durians wrapped or packed, touch durian skin with your fingers. If the skin feels soft and tender, the fruit is ripe and ready to eat. If you feel strong, the fruit is immature. Please try and happy hunting durian!
